odisha 10th result 2026 — IN news

On May 2, 2026, the Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSE Odisha) will unveil the eagerly awaited Class 10 results, a momentous occasion for over half a million students across the state. For the first time, these students will receive their certificates in both Odia and English, marking a significant step towards inclusivity and accessibility.

Students can expect to access their scorecards online starting at 6 PM on the official websites bseodisha.ac.in and bseodisha.nic.in. The announcement will occur at 4 PM, following a rigorous examination period that saw 561,979 candidates sitting for tests across more than 3,000 centers.

This year’s examinations took place between February 19 and March 2, with students needing a minimum of 33 percent marks to pass overall, alongside a requirement of at least 30 percent in each subject. These benchmarks ensure that students meet essential educational standards.

The provisional marksheet will include critical details such as the student’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total score, and qualifying status—elements crucial for their academic journey. Students can also check their results through SMS by sending OR10 followed by their roll number to 5676750.

The introduction of digital platforms like the DigiLocker and Umang App enhances accessibility. These tools allow students to securely store and retrieve their academic documents digitally, reflecting a broader push towards modernization in education.

The pass percentage from last year stood impressively at 94.69 percent, indicating strong performance trends among students statewide. This statistic sets a hopeful precedent as anticipation builds for this year’s results.

Yet challenges remain; while many students prepare for their next steps—be it higher education or vocational training—others face uncertainties about their future paths. The dual-language certificates may ease some of these concerns by providing wider opportunities.

The excitement surrounding the results is palpable among students and educators alike. As they await the outcome of months of hard work, one question lingers: how will these changes impact student motivation and engagement moving forward?
