is neet admit card released 2026 — IN news

The NEET UG Admit Card 2026 was released a day earlier than the previously announced date, allowing candidates to download it in advance of the exam. This year, approximately 20 lakh candidates are preparing for this crucial medical entrance exam, which is set to take place on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates can access their admit cards through the official website neet.nta.nic.in. To obtain their hall tickets, they must log in using their application number and either their date of birth or password. Entry to the examination centres will not be permitted without a valid admit card—this document is essential.

The admit card contains vital information such as candidate details, the address of the exam centre, reporting time, and the exam date itself. Candidates are advised to arrive at their designated centres by 11:00 AM on exam day to avoid any last-minute complications.

This year’s NEET UG examination will be conducted across 552 cities in India and in 14 cities abroad—an expansive reach that underscores its national significance. As students prepare for this pivotal moment in their academic journeys, many have expressed relief at the early release of the admit cards.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for overseeing this examination, had initially scheduled the release for April 27. However, they expedited the process—a move that has drawn positive reactions from hopeful candidates.

“NEET UG 2026 hall tickets are available now,” said an NTA spokesperson. “Candidates should ensure they follow all guidelines provided.” In addition to carrying a printed admit card and valid photo ID proof, students must bring recent passport-sized photographs.

But there’s more than just paperwork involved; candidates must adhere to a strict dress code. Items such as jewellery, watches, electronic devices, and bags are prohibited inside the examination hall.

720 marks available on the NEET UG exam, every point counts.
