Xiaomi Launches the 17 Ultra
Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17 Series in India, unveiling two flagship smartphones — the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is positioned as a premium device, showcasing significant advancements in smartphone technology.
Key Features of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a 6.9 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,500 nits peak brightness. This display aims to provide users with a vibrant and smooth visual experience.
Weighing 218.4 grams and boasting an IP68 rating, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is designed for durability against dust and moisture. It is powered by a robust 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring that users can stay connected without frequent interruptions.
Camera Innovations
One of the standout features of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is its camera system. It includes a 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor, a 50 MP main camera, a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. This setup is designed to push the boundaries of smartphone photography.

Additionally, Xiaomi has highlighted that the LOFIC sensor significantly increases the sensor’s full-well capacity, allowing it to preserve details across both extremes within a single image. The Ultra model also features a Leica 200MP telephoto system with 75–100mm mechanical optical zoom.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is priced at ₹1,29,999, while the Xiaomi 17 starts at ₹89,999. Both phones will be available starting March 18, 2026.
Xiaomi is also offering a ‘Never Run Out’ promotion where the 512GB model will be priced the same as the 256GB variant during the launch period, making it an attractive option for potential buyers.
