What is the status of WBJEE 2026?

The registration for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 has officially commenced. This marks a significant step for aspiring candidates looking to secure admission in various undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture.

Key Dates and Details

The application window is open until April 5, 2026, providing candidates ample time to complete their registrations. The exam itself is scheduled for May 24, 2026, and will be conducted in an offline OMR format.

To be eligible for the WBJEE 2026, candidates must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent examination, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. It is crucial for candidates to check the eligibility criteria before proceeding with the registration.

Application Process

The application fees vary based on candidate categories: general male candidates are required to pay INR 500, while general female candidates and male candidates from SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, or TFW categories will pay INR 400. All female candidates from these categories will pay INR 300, and candidates from SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, or TFW categories will have a reduced fee of INR 200.
