UPSC Releases CSE 2025 Marksheet
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the marksheets for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 on March 10, 2026. This marks a significant milestone in the recruitment process for various prestigious civil services in India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment following the examination cycle. The final merit ranking is determined by the combined scores from the Mains Examination and the Personality Test, which together account for a maximum of 2025 marks.
The written examination, which comprises a maximum of 1750 marks, and the Personality Test, worth 275 marks, form the basis of this evaluation. Anuj Agnihotri achieved the top rank, securing All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) with a total score of 1071 marks, which includes 867 marks from the Written Examination and 204 marks from the Personality Test.
It is noteworthy that the written examination marks are not included in the final merit ranking for the Preliminary Examination. However, the marksheet provides valuable insights for aspirants, allowing them to analyze the performance of successful candidates across both stages of the examination.
In this cycle, top candidates scored above 820 marks in the written examination, with interview marks ranging from 187 to 215. The publication of these marksheets reflects the transparent recruitment process upheld by the UPSC, ensuring that the selection process remains fair and accessible to all candidates.
Anuj Agnihotri chose Medical Science as his optional subject for the UPSC Mains examination, which contributed to his impressive performance. The difference in marks between AIR 1 and AIR 2 stands at 4 marks, highlighting the competitive nature of this examination.
