The preliminary examination for UPPCS 2024 took place on December 22, 2024, attracting a staggering 5.76 lakh applicants. Out of these, 15,066 candidates qualified for the main examination, which was conducted from June 29 to July 2, 2025. Following the mains, interviews were held from February 16 to March 20, 2026, culminating in the recent results announcement.

The UPPSC Mains Examination consists of eight papers, testing a wide range of knowledge and skills essential for aspiring civil servants. This rigorous assessment is part of the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2025, which aims to fill an additional 200 vacancies.

However, the journey to this point was not without challenges. The UPPCS-2024 examination faced protests demanding a single-day preliminary exam due to a paper leak incident, highlighting the intense scrutiny and pressure surrounding such competitive examinations.

With the stakes high and the demand for transparency greater than ever, the future of civil service examinations in Uttar Pradesh remains a topic of significant interest.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any further developments or changes in the examination process, but the recent results have certainly set a high bar for future candidates.
