The UPPCS 2024 results have sent ripples of excitement across Uttar Pradesh, as Neha Panchal has emerged as the top scorer in this highly competitive examination. Her achievement not only highlights her dedication but also marks a significant moment in the landscape of civil services in the state.

Following closely behind, Ananya Trivedi secured the second position, while Abhay Pratap Singh claimed the third spot. This year’s results are particularly noteworthy as six women have made it to the top ten, reflecting a growing trend of female representation in civil services.

Out of a total of 947 posts available, 932 have been successfully filled, showcasing an impressive recruitment drive. Among the selected candidates, 613 are men and 319 are women, indicating a success rate of 34.22% for women in this examination cycle.

The preliminary examination for UPPCS 2024 took place on December 22, 2024, attracting a staggering 241,359 candidates. This overwhelming participation underscores the fierce competition and the aspirations of many to serve in public administration.

Following the preliminary round, the mains examination was held from June 29 to July 2, 2025, culminating in the final results declared on March 29, 2026. The interview phase, which is crucial for final selection, took place from February 16 to March 20, 2026.

Ashok Kumar, a spokesperson for the commission, stated, “Information regarding candidates’ marks and category-wise/post-wise cut-off marks will soon be published on the Commission’s website.” This announcement is eagerly awaited by many candidates who are keen to understand their performance in detail.

The backdrop to this examination was marked by protests in November 2024, where aspirants demanded that the preliminary examination be conducted in a single day due to a paper leak incident. This incident highlighted the challenges faced by candidates and the need for transparency in the examination process.

As the dust settles on the UPPCS 2024 results, the focus now shifts to the implications of these outcomes for future examinations and the ongoing efforts to enhance the integrity and accessibility of the selection process.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific measures that will be implemented following the recent controversies, but the commission is expected to address these concerns in the coming months.

The success of candidates like Neha Panchal serves as an inspiration for many, particularly women, who aspire to break barriers and make their mark in the civil services arena.
