Men’s Competition Match at Trent Bridge
The Trent Rockets Men secured their first win in The Hundred, defeating the London Spirit Men by four wickets. The match took place at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, with the Rockets successfully chasing down their target. Ben Duckett was a key player for the Rockets, scoring 75 runs from 47 balls to guide his team to victory.

Despite Donovan Ferreira’s 23 runs, Birmingham was bowled out for 100 runs from 97 balls, with Dawson taking three wickets. Scott Currie remained not out with 14 runs.
Women’s Competition Overview
In the women’s competition, Grace Harris’s London Spirit secured their first win of the tournament, defeating Ash Gardner’s Trent Rockets by five wickets at Trent Bridge. Marizanne Kapp started well for Spirit, bowling Beth Mooney early. However, a 33-run partnership between Sophia Dunkley and Sophie Luff helped Rockets recover.
Kapp later took the wickets of Dunkley (23) and Luff (24). Georgia Adams was caught and bowled by Charlie Dean. Ash Gardner, the captain for Trent Rockets, was the top scorer for her team with 34 runs before her innings was ended by Dean. Bess Heath added an unbeaten 31 runs.
Grace Harris led the chase for Spirit, scoring 37 runs from 20 balls before being caught by Luff off Gardner (2-24). Rockets then took three quick wickets, dismissing Amy Jones (21), Kapp (2), and Sterre Kalis (0). However, Marie Kelly (39) and Nadine de Klerk (41 not out) helped Spirit chase down the target of 142 runs with five wickets in hand, securing their first win of the season.
