He began his career in the film industry with the production of Ivargal Varungala Thoongal in 1987, which marked the start of a prolific journey.

Throughout his career, he produced several landmark films, including Manasukul Mathappu in 1988, Nalaya Manithan in 1989, and Witness in 1995. His directorial work included Jenma Natchathiram, a remake of the classic horror film The Omen, released in 1991.

Srinivasan also made a notable appearance as the antagonist in the Kamal Hassan-starrer Soora Samharam, further showcasing his versatility in the film industry.

In his later years, he became known for his philanthropic efforts, running an ashram and living with his adopted children. His commitment to giving back to the community was a significant aspect of his life.

His last directorial project was Aduthathu, inspired by Agatha Christie’s novel And Then There Were None, which highlighted his enduring creativity and passion for storytelling.
