After enduring years of alleged abuse, Surve decided to take a significant step in her life. On March 9, 2026, she underwent a purification ritual known as ‘Ghar Wapsi’ to convert back to Hinduism. This ritual included traditional Vedic ceremonies such as havan and the chanting of mantras.

Following her conversion, Sayali Surve adopted the name Aadya Surve. She expressed her feelings about her marriage, stating, “Marrying Aatif Tase was the biggest mistake of my life.” Surve has four children and claimed that she endured the situation for their sake, stating, “I spent so many years thinking this. But as a human being, my patience was over.”

Surve has also been vocal about her experiences, encouraging other women facing similar situations to seek help. “Any girl who is enduring such things, please don’t endure it,” she urged, highlighting the importance of support for those in distress.
