In a decisive operation on March 24, Baramulla Police recovered approximately 1.7 kilograms of charas in the Chichilora area of Kunzer, Jammu and Kashmir. During the operation, police intercepted a suspicious vehicle with the registration number HR55AD2930. Upon investigation, they found 27 grams of charas on the driver, identified as Waheed Sultan. One suspect was arrested during the operation, while another managed to escape, prompting police to intensify their search efforts. A case has been registered under FIR No.35/2026 at Police Station Kunzer, underscoring the seriousness with which authorities are treating this incident.
