Originally scheduled for February 23, 2026, the exam has now been rescheduled to take place from April 27 to May 30, 2026, across four phases. This significant change has left many aspiring candidates in a state of flux, as they adjust their study plans to accommodate the new timeline.
In a bid to ease the transition, candidates will have the opportunity to select their preferred exam week between April 11 and April 15, 2026. However, it’s important to note that submitting a preference does not guarantee allocation to the chosen week, adding another layer of complexity to the process.
With over 25,000 vacancies announced for the SSC GD Constable recruitment, the stakes are high. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination, ensuring that only the most qualified candidates will be selected for roles within various forces such as the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, and others.
