rpsc — IN news

The release of the RPSC SI Admit Card 2026 marks a significant milestone for candidates preparing for the Sub Inspector Combined Competitive Examination, scheduled for April 5 and 6, 2026. With the admit cards now available for download from the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, candidates are urged to secure their hall tickets promptly to ensure their participation in this highly competitive exam.

This examination will assess candidates in two critical subjects: General Hindi and General Knowledge with General Science. Each subject will have a duration of two hours and a maximum score of 200 marks. To pass, candidates must achieve at least 36% in each paper and a minimum of 40% in the aggregate.

Following the written examination, successful candidates will face a physical efficiency test worth 100 marks, where they must secure at least 50% to qualify. This rigorous selection process also includes an aptitude test and an interview, collectively carrying 50 marks.

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has set a stringent merit-based selection criterion, planning to shortlist candidates up to 20 times the number of vacancies available. This means that only the top-performing candidates will advance to the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

To download the admit card, candidates must enter their login details on the official portal. This step is crucial, as the admit card serves as a gateway to the examination hall, confirming their eligibility to sit for the tests.

In addition to academic knowledge, the commission will evaluate candidates on various qualities, including personality traits and their understanding of Rajasthani culture, further emphasizing the comprehensive nature of the selection process.

As the exam dates approach, candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly, ensuring they meet the required standards to succeed. The stakes are high, and with the competitive nature of the examination, every mark counts.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the exact number of vacancies and the total number of candidates expected to participate, but the anticipation is palpable as aspiring sub-inspectors gear up for this pivotal moment in their careers.
