RPSC Announces Rajasthan SI Exam City Intimation for 2026

rpsc — IN news

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has taken a significant step for candidates preparing for the Rajasthan Sub Inspector (SI) Exam by issuing the city intimation slip for 2026. This crucial document, which became available for download on March 29, 2026, provides candidates with essential information regarding their exam city, allowing them to plan their travel accordingly.

Candidates can easily access the city intimation slip using their registration number and date of birth. However, it is important to note that this slip does not include the address of the exam centre, which has raised some concerns among the candidates. The exam is scheduled to take place over two days, on April 5 and 6, 2026, with two shifts each day.

The first shift on April 5 will run from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. Similarly, the same timings will apply for the second day of the exam. Candidates are advised to download the city slip at the earliest to avoid any last-minute issues.

While the city intimation slip provides vital information such as the candidate’s name, application number, roll number, exam date, exam city, and shift timing, it is crucial to remember that it is not the admit card. The RPSC will release the official admit card on April 2, 2026, through its website and the SSO Portal.

To ensure a smooth examination process, candidates must arrive at the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the scheduled exam time. This is particularly important given the high stakes involved, with 1,015 vacancies for Sub Inspectors and Platoon Commanders up for grabs.

As the exam dates approach, candidates are urged to remain vigilant and prepared, ensuring they have all necessary documents, including the RPSC SI Admit Card and valid ID proof, ready for the examination day.

With the exam just around the corner, the anticipation among candidates is palpable. However, details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific locations of the exam centres, which could impact candidates’ travel plans.
