“Park Jin-young will not go through the process of reappointment as an inside director at the general shareholders’ meeting on March 26,” stated JYP Entertainment in a recent announcement.
After serving as an inside director for 15 years, Park Jin-young has decided to step down from this role. He has been a pivotal figure in the K-pop industry, having founded JYP Entertainment in 1997 and debuted in the music scene in 1994.

Stray Kids was recognized as the highest-grossing K-pop tour of 2025 according to Billboard’s end-of-the-year report, underscoring the successful trajectory of JYP Entertainment under Park’s leadership.
