Hyundai Verna Facelift Launched in India

The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has officially been launched in India, marking a significant update to the popular sedan. This new version is positioned to compete with established rivals such as the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.

The price range for the updated Verna is set between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for buyers in the compact sedan segment.

The new Verna is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. Each variant comes equipped with a choice of two engines: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generating 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque.

In terms of safety, the updated Verna includes a Level-2 ADAS suite and seven airbags, enhancing its appeal to safety-conscious consumers. The interior features dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, providing a modern and tech-savvy driving experience.

Additional features include a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, which are becoming increasingly popular among car buyers.

Deliveries for the new Verna are expected to start by the end of the month, as Hyundai aims to capitalize on the growing demand for updated sedans in the Indian market.

With its competitive pricing and advanced features, the Hyundai Verna facelift is poised to make a significant impact in the automotive landscape of India.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the exact delivery timelines and customer response to the new features.
